Thursday, January 26, 2013 at Lang Park Sydney
Distance; 7 kms. Grade; Easy. Starting at 11am we journey across Observatory Hill, hopefully catching a glimpse of the Ferry race as we cross the bridge. Stopping at many vantage points to see the action on the water, we will trek up the north side of the harbour taking in views from Luna Park, Lavender Bay, McMahons' Point, Sawmillers Reserve and Balls Head. We finish at the Waverton Bowling Club for drinks on their balcony overlooking the harbour at Berrys Bay.
Stick around for a lazy afternoon, a game of bowls, late lunch or just sip some beers with the jazz band playing on the lawn. Feel free to come along for all or just a part of the day's activities.
It's an easy trip home from nearby Waverton train station (one station away from North Sydney).
Call Sean on 0416 019 746 if you have any questions.
